Overview
All publishers working with TwinRed must adhere to the platform's publishing compliance guidelines. These rules are designed to maintain a high-quality, safe, and trustworthy advertising ecosystem for all parties — advertisers, publishers, and end users.
Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in zone suspension, payment withholding, or account termination.
Prohibited Content
Publishers may not display TwinRed ads on websites or pages that contain the following:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — Any sexual content involving minors is strictly prohibited and will be reported to relevant authorities
- Non-consensual content — Content depicting sexual acts without the apparent consent of participants
- Illegal content — Pages promoting or facilitating illegal activities, including piracy, drug trafficking, or weapons sales
- Malware or phishing — Sites that distribute malicious software or engage in deceptive data collection
- Hate speech or violent extremism — Content promoting violence, discrimination, or terrorism
- Fake news or fraudulent content — Deliberately misleading information designed to deceive users
Traffic Quality Requirements
TwinRed enforces strict traffic quality standards. Publishers must ensure that:
- All traffic is genuine human traffic — bot traffic, click fraud, and artificial inflation of impressions are strictly prohibited
- Ad zones are placed in visible, legitimate positions on the page
- Publishers do not use deceptive methods to generate clicks or impressions (e.g., hidden iframes, auto-refresh spam)
- Traffic originates from real users browsing the publisher's site organically
TwinRed uses advanced fraud detection systems to monitor traffic quality. Publishers found to be sending fraudulent traffic will have their accounts suspended without payment.
Ad Zone Placement Guidelines
- Ad zones must be placed on pages that you own or have legal rights to monetise
- Do not place ad zones in a way that tricks users into clicking (e.g., disguising ads as navigation elements)
- Ensure your website has a clear privacy policy that discloses the use of third-party advertising
- Do not place multiple pop-under zones that trigger on the same user visit without a reasonable frequency cap
Age Verification
If your website contains adult content, you are required to implement an age verification mechanism that restricts access to users under the age of 18 (or the applicable legal age in your jurisdiction). TwinRed operates primarily in the adult advertising space and takes age verification compliance very seriously.
Reporting and Compliance Reviews
TwinRed periodically reviews publisher sites for compliance. If your site is found to be in violation of these guidelines:
- You will be notified by your account manager or the compliance team
- You will be given an opportunity to resolve the issue within a specified timeframe
- Failure to resolve violations may result in account suspension
If you have questions about whether your site meets TwinRed's compliance standards, contact your account manager or reach out via the TwinRed contact page before monetising.
