Your starting budget should always depend on various factors:
- What product/service are you promoting? What basis? Is it CPA or CPL?
Usually CPA models require more traffic in order to get the best results, therefore the starting budget should be significantly higher (we suggest above $1000) than CPL (for lead generation models we suggest to start with a budget above $300).
Note: we refer here to "CPA" and "CPL" as performance indicators. Our platform only accepts CPM and CPC to bid for traffic.
- Which ad format will you be using to promote your product/service?
Popunders ("Leave Behinds") and Prerolls (video ads) usually require higher starting budget than banners for example.
- Which country do you want to target?
Tier 1 countries are in most cases more expensive than traffic in Tier 2 or Tier 3 countries.
For the most accurate bids we always suggest you to reach out to your Account Manager who will provide you with the current bids, and with an estimated budget that will be the best to start off with.
